Undoubtedly one of England's modern day cricketing greats, Kevin Pietersen has never been too far from the spotlight. He's divided opinion for the entirety of his career, and once again finds himself in hot water.
Following a dispute with England Coach Andy Flower, it was reported that Flower had issued a 'he goes or I go' ultimatum to the ECB. This is something KP has previous for, having been stripped of the captaincy in 2009 following arguments with Peter Moores that resulted in the end of his tenure as Coach.
Flower has now denied there is any rift between himself and KP, however with his wish to continue as England Coach it is questionable whether he sees KP in the rebuilding of the England team. Do England need KP to move forward, or is now the perfect time to blood the next big Number 4 - Taylor, Root, Balance? Is it time to clean house as the Aussies did after the 2010 Ashes and rebuild from the ground up, and is KP a man to have in the squad to teach, or a disruptive influence to be avoided?
